Smooth reel, easy casting, no backlashes, June 21, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Pinnacle Optimus XT Baitcast Reel (Sports) I recently purchased this reel as well as two other baitcasters (a Quantum Energy PT SS and a Shimano Curado 200e5) and this one is easily my favorite. I think the breaking system on this is the best out of the three reels and it casts as well or better than the other two. I can't say much about durability since I've only had it on the lake 3 times but I'd imagine with some routine maintenance this reel will last a long time.

Supper smooth, metal body a fram, no graphite. Fits in the palm of your hand like the more expensive ones. But yet works better, than my 300$ Abu Garcia.
