Sweet Reeling, September 12, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Lews Tournament Pro Speed 11 Bearing 6.4:1 Wiffled Spool Baitcast Right Hand Reel (Sports) I bought this reel and the regular Speed Spool. Both reels are very smooth, but the Pro has some nice enhancements, such as clickers on the drag and cast control knob. One thing I really like about the Pro is the dual braking systems--magnetic and centrifugal. Most of the time I use one tab on the centrifugal VBS without any magnetic braking, but with some lures I'll need a little magnetic braking to optimize the cast. I leave the cast control knob as loose as I can. The spool spins very freely but out of curiosity I removed both braking systems, which is easy to do, to see how difficult it would be to control. While I could manage without using the cast control knob in this configuration, it took too much concentration to prevent backlashes and my thumb was not good enough to cast as far as I could with some variable braking.
