11 of 11 people found the following review helpful You gotta get this one!, November 26, 2010 By  RevRusty - See all my reviews This review is from: Daiwa Megaforce (with Twitchin' Bar) Baitcast Reel (Sports) Santa (ahem!) brought me this outstanding baitcaster last Christmas, and I've happily fished it hard for a whole year. I only use baitcasters and it's my best reel, the one that allows me to successfully "beat the banks" with soft plastics on Texas and Carolina rigs. I made it a point to give the twitch bar a fair chance, and I'm really glad I did. It provides just the right movement to entice bites. And there are times when the twitch bar is useful in order to hold and operate the rig with one hand, freeing the other. Despite heavy use, the reel is as smooth today as when I opened the box. Held up against a few hawgs, too. If I needed a second worming rig, I'd grab another Daiwa Megaforce. This review is from: Daiwa Megaforce (with Twitchin' Bar) Baitcast Reel (Sports) I have used this reel in fresh and salt water and have caught several larger fish with it with no problems. When the reel is properly set up a very light lure can be cast with no backlash. The twiching bar is a great asset when used with certain lures. With Power Pro 20# test line this is a nice setup.
