Spectacular value!, April 22, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: 2 PACK OKUMA MAGDA PRO LINECOUNTER REELS (Misc.) My friend bought me one of these reels a couple summers ago locally for a lofty price. I love to troll the lakes and ponds here in NH for Trout and have had amazing results with it. I was amazed to find 2 of them together on your site for such a good price. I received them timely and in the NEW condition as advertised. I have already christened them both with spring Trout catches and cannot be more satisfied with their performance. I have them both on 6'6" Ugly Sticks to run off either side of the boat with different weights and presentations on each. The counter allows me to put out varying amounts of line and keep track of where I'm at roughly in the water column. I don't use electronics. I find it more sporting to do without. I don't need to see the fish, these reels and some careful experimenting get me catches every trip out. The retrieve is as fast or slow as I want it to be, the star drag makes for fast and simple adjustment on the retrieve and nothing beats the sound of... Read more
