Grabbed one of these off here the other day and I cannot be more pleased. This thing is the absolute last word in reels. Took this thing out catching those little, round, yellow fish in the local pond, with my toy poodle, Francois, and boy did we have a blast. Those little guys swim around so fast, they swallow the darn hook and can rip their own guts out; really gruesome, and takes the fun out of stomping them to death on dry land, with my big ol' steel-toed Red Wings.
Well, I gave this here Daiwa Seaborg Megatwin SB1000MT Power Assist Reel a whirl and I could not have had a better result. I didn't even have to use a rod with this thing, I just kind of turned it on and let it go. Would you believe the fish just jumped on up out of the water and into this thing? Nope, didn't think you would. That's why you'll have to buy one to see. Darn contraption even de-boned and filleted a big ol' catfish I had my sights on. Just chopped him up, and squirted him out.
